Crash by Nicole Williams

Series: Crash
  • Paperback: 384 pages
  • Publisher: HarperCollins

Synopsis:
Southpointe High is the last place Lucy wanted to wind up her senior year of school. Right up until she stumbles into Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble. He's got a rap sheet that runs longer than a senior thesis, has had his name sighed, shouted, and cursed by more women than Lucy dares to ask, and lives at the local boys home where disturbed seems to be the status quo for the residents. Lucy had a stable at best, quirky at worst, upbringing. She lives for wearing the satin down on her ballet shoes, has her sights set on Juilliard, and has been careful to keep trouble out of her life. Up until now.

Jude's everything she needs to stay away from if she wants to separate her past from her future. Staying away, she's about to find out, is the only thing she's incapable of.

For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love's about to become the thing that tears them apart.

Review:

This contemporary is more than i was expecting , it's really good and entertained. Probably i will pick up this book someday again.

What i loved more was the plot of this book , it was so amazing and there were some things that i didn't expect (which is kind of weird because most of the time i know what is going to happen) and the bomb she (Nicole Williams ) throw at us is shocking.

The characters are really good too; i love the fact that both characters were broken due the things they have been through and at the same time this thing make them to be together.

Is a really fun reading and i totally recommend this book.

The only thing that i didn't like it that much it was the love between them happen so quickly but besides that everything was perfect.

And... leave the best part for the end... this has two more books to continue ¡Yei! I'm hoping to get them in a near future *wish me luck*

From two bestselling superstars, a dazzling and magical middle-grade collaboration centering on the students of the Magisterium, an academy for those with a propensity toward magic. In this first book, a new student comes to the Magisterium against his will -- is it because he is destined to be a powerful magician, or is the truth more twisted than that? Jude and her brother, Noah, are incredibly close twins. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude surfs and cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and divisive ways . . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as an unpredictable new mentor. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

At 21, Calla hasn’t done a lot of things. She’s never been kissed, never seen the ocean, never gone to an amusement park. But growing up, she witnessed some things no child ever should. She still carries the physical and emotional scars of living with a strung-out mother, Mona—secrets she keeps from everyone, including her close circle of college friends.

But the safe cocoon Calla has carefully built is shattered when she discovers her mom has stolen her college money and run up a huge credit card debt in her name. Now, Calla has to go back to the small town she thought she'd left behind and clean up her mom’s mess again. Of course, when she arrives at her mother’s bar, Mona is nowhere to be found. Instead, six feet of hotness named Jackson James is pouring drinks and keeping the place humming.

Sexy and intense, Jax is in Calla’s business from the moment they meet, giving her a job and helping her search for Mona. And the way he looks at her makes it clear he wants to get horizontal . . . and maybe something more. Before Calla can let him get close, though, she’s got to deal with the pain of the past—and some very bad guys out to mess her up if she doesn’t give them her mom.

Bout of Books One True Pairing

My favorite OTP is Maia and Jordan from The Mortal Instruments
They are lycanthropes and so am i (but its a secret dont tell anyone). Maia appears in City of Ashes for the first time as a member of Luke's pack. She doesn't like to be a lycanthrope and it's all fault of her ex boyfriend, Jordan. We met Jordan in City of Fallen Angels when he is trying to help Simon ( he is a good guy even when Maia wants us to see him like a bad one) but she does that because she is scared and doesnt know how to forgive him.

As the history goes on Jordan is trying to fix the things with Maia, he knows he make a mistake, but he didn't on purpose, because when you are a lycanthrope there are things that you cant control, like anger.

When Jordan comes back Maia notice that the feels for him still there but she has been hurt so many times that she is scared to be hurt again and to see that Jordan is very regretted by what he has done, she can't stop remembering how it feels to be loved, to be desired, to feel that someone cares about you, and finally she forgive him ¡YEII!

I love this couple because they can face everything if they are together, they support each other no matter what and alsow they are so cute in THOSE moments (i can't be more specific) jijijiji .

And that is way they are my favorite couple ¡hope you like it!

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

Title: Clockwork Angel
Autor: Cassandra Clare
Series:  The Infernal Devices
Pages: 512 pag

Synopsis:
When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.

Review:
I'm a big fan from Cassandra Clare books, i think they are fresh and kick butt ( and i love those kind of things) but this book i didn't enjoyed that much. The people say that they like more The Infernal Devices than The Mortal Instruments series but i'm not one of them.

Maybe it didn't like me that much because i had so much expectation about what it was going to happen ( i mean things that now i know it will happen in the next two books) so that make me feel kind of sad because i was really expecting them;however i still like it ,not that much but yes.

The characters are very good, one of my favorites is Tessa because she starts changing in to a strong woman that she never thought she could be. The other character is Jem, he is a sweet guy who cares about others and try to help them with his own experiences even when he has his own problems( i really like this character, i think he is so cute and kind). And... the last character is Will. He is complicated and arrogant too but he has his reasons ( this character reminds me a lot of Jaces) and sometimes it drives me crazy the things that he does but it's okey i still love him anyway.

The action is so good as always and Cassandra give us new tips from the shadow world that we didn't know. I totally recommend this books to the fans of Cassandra because i'm pretty sure that the will love it.
